George is the antagonist in the story because he is always trying to make Lennie feel bad about himself and he is never telling Lennie when he is doing good.
Protagonist
Lennie is the protagonist in the story because he is just trying to do good and help out George. But what the does not realize kills him in the end of the story.

Curley's Wife is a round character because she has some traits that we admire as humans and other traits we cringe about.
