What are the pressure points for guiding a horse with a bridle and bits?

Bars of the mouth. Spaces or gums on lower jaw of the horse between the incisors and molars.
Tongue. All bits place some pressure on the tongue at some point, pushing it down into the mouth.
Corners of the mouth. Lips at corners of the mouth where the bit

What is a bosal and what is it used for?

Rawhide nose band used in place of a bit.
A modified bridle used to guide the horse by the head without a bit, urilizes other head pressure points.
