it warns u when the coolanr in the engine is too hot or too low?
temp light or guage
it warns you when the oil is not circulating at proper pressure or there is not enough oil?
oil pressure light or gauge
when the ALT light comes on or the gauge shows "discharge" while the engine is running, the vehicles electrical system is not functioning properly ?
alternator/ generator light or gauges
