Extensor Digitorum Longus

I= Middle and distal phalanges of digits 2-5, by four tendons to

A=Extends 2nd through 5th metatarsophalangeal and interphalangeal
joint, dorsiflexes the ankle, everts the foot

Extensor Hallucis Longus

O= middle of anterior surface of the fibula and interosseous membrane
I= Base of the first distal phalanx, dorsal side
A=extends first metatarsophalangeal and interphalangeal joint,
dorsiflexes the ankle, inverts the foot

Peroneus Longus

O= Head and lateral two-thirds of the fibula
I= lateral side of the first metatarsal and medial cuneiform
A=Plantarflexes the ankle, everts the foot

Peroneus Brevis

O= Distal two-thirds of lateral surface of the fibula
I= Tuberosity on base of fifth metatarsal

Peroneus Tertius

O= Distal one-third of anterior surface of the fibula and

Gastrocnemius

Soleus

O= soleal line and posterior surface of the tibia and posterior head

Plantaris
