Became chancellor in 1933
-wanted to bring Germany out of chaos
-felt people other than Aryans were inferior
-wanted to expand the German empire

German brand of fascism, extreme nationalism

Third Reich

Third German Empire after Hitler dismantled the Wiemar Republic

Japan and Manchuria

Japan's militarists took control of the government. Conquered Manchuria by the end of the year.

Japan and the League of Nations

League of Nations disgraced Japan which caused them to quit the "group

Germany and the League of Nations

After seeing what happened in Japan, Hitler followed suit. Then violated the Treaty of Versailles and invaded Rhineland

Italy, Ethiopia and League of Nations

-Italy wanted Ethiopia for its new empire.
-League of Nations responded with an ineffective boycott.
-Ethiopia asked for help but nothing was done
