come on stop joking we need to do it on something that actually happened
You're aware that the gold rush actually happened right?
Nah that's just something they made up for Rush the musical
Look it is 100% real what even is rush the musical?
You've never heard of Rush The Musical?! (EMMA shakes their head.) It's this amazing movie musical from the 50's about a guy named Felix --- Felix Farley, like barley but with an F --- who moves to California during the gold rush for a brand new life! It'
Okay... Alright, just play the first part, and then maybe we can get some ideas for our project. Let's watch Rush.
(Grabs remote and presses play)
The Musical! (The TV does not work.) Oh, come on.
(ANDREW goes to it to fix it. EMMA goes to the unplugged cord, waits a second to see if he catches on, then plugs it in. The TV works now.)

This spot looks promising! (He starts panning after a while with some physical acting with CACTUS. Then, MINNIE enters from opposite side.)
(To ANDREW.) Hold on, pause. Who's she?
That's Minnie! She's the sweetest girl west of the Mississippi.

Okay, there's absolutely no way it was that easy to find gold back then. (Notices ANDREW taking notes) Why are you writing this down it's so- whatever.

Be at the Saloon by noon tomorrow. And don't be late! (MINNIE, CACTUS, and ANDREW gasp in that order.)

(Lights up on stage right. Living room set is off and Friend 1 and Friend 2 are holding papers and presenting their project. Characters of Rush are watching presentation as students)
...then Felix Farley, like Barley but with an F, defeated the evil mayor in an intense arm wrestle duel which caused the mayor to leave town forever
Felix used his new riches to buy the town and the horse, Cactus, was declared the Mayor of the town and everyone lived happily ever after!
And that concludes our presentation on Important Historical Figures during the gold rush!
