Why didn't the articles work?

Weak, couldn't tax, no leader, couldn't raise money, no one to make sure laws were followed, no courts

What were the positives about it?

First law of the land, independence for nation, no king in charge like Britain

Shay's rebellion

Shay led a rebellion of Massachusetts farmers against the state because there were too many taxes

Great Compromise

Bicameralism: House of Representatives (based on population) and Senate (2 per state)
