Lymphatic System

The organ system that regulates fluids in the body and defends the body against disease

Urinary System

The organ system that processes, stores, and eliminates liquid waste from the body

The system of organs involved in producing offspring

The Heart

The major organ of the cardiovascular system. It is mainly a large muscle that acts as a pump to move blood throughout the blood vessels of the body.

The Alveoli

A tiny, thin walled structure in the lung where oxygen passes into the blood stream and carbon dioxide comes out of the blood .

The Brain

The major organ of the nervous system that controls all of the bodily activity.

The Stomach

A bag-like structure made of muscle where ingested food is broken down before moving into the small intestine.

The Skin

The largest organ in the human body that provides protection from the surrounding environment

The Pancreas

An organ in the digestive system that is responsible for the secretion of insulin and other enzymes that help with the digestion of sugars and starches.

Bone Marrow

The fatty network of connective tissue that fills the cavities of bones and is the site of blood cell production

Capillaries

Tiny, thin-walled blood vessels that allow the exchange of gases and nutrients between the blood and the cells of the body

The Kidneys
