Do the terms "growth" and "development" mean the same thing?

No. Growth refers to changes in size, such as weight and length. Development refers to increases and changes in physical, emotional, social, or intellectual development

Head to toe development

Movement evolves from just lifting the head, to all the way down to the toes.

Near to far development

At first babies can only learn about things near to them, but then they develop to learning about things that are far.

Simple to complex development

Large muscles, motor skills, etc. Vs small muscles, small motor skills, etc.

They Are the key skills a child learns and they are useful because its the important measurements and developments that helps the child to grow and become apart of the world.

No. Nature and nurture both play a role in determining how a child will grow and develop.
