Biography

An account of someone's life written by someone else

Autobiography

An account of a person's life written by that person

Realistic Fiction

A story using made-up characters that could happen in real life.

Science Fiction

A type of fantasy that uses science and technology. (Robots, time machines, etc.).

Fantasy

A story set in an imaginary world in which the characters usually have supernatural powers or abilities.

Memoir

A piece of autobiographical writing which highlights meaningful events in ones life

Traditional Literature

stories that are passed down from one group to another in history. This includes folktales, legends, fables, fairy tales, tall tales, and myths from different cultures.
