1. Advancement

the promotion of a person in position, rank, or status

2. Affordability

the ability to be afforded

3. Aptitude

the potential a person has for learning a skill

4. Benefits

a payment or gift made by an employer, the state, or an insurance company

5. Blue Collar Career

professional performs manual labor, often at an hourly wage.

6. Career

an occupation undertaken for a significant period of a person's life and with opportunities for progress

7. Career Cluster

contain occupations in the same field of work that require similar skills. There are 16 different career clusters

8. Career Pathway

is a workforce development strategy used in the United States to support workers' transitions from education into and through the workforce.

9. Career Plan

helps you determine your skills and interests, what career best suits your talents, and what skills and training you need for your chosen career.

10. Commission

is a sum of money that is paid to an employee upon completion of a task, usually the task of selling a certain amount of goods or services.

11. Commute

travel some distance between one's home and place of work on a regular basis.

12. Debt

something, typically money, that is owed or due.

13. Economic Values

values that reflect the importance of money in a person's happiness

14. Entrepreneur

a person who organizes and operates a business or businesses, taking on greater than normal financial risks in order to do so.

15. Gross Pay

is the amount of money your employees receive before any taxes and deductions are taken out

the money one has saved, especially through a bank or official scheme
