Energy

The ability to do work

Kinetic energy

The energy contained in moving objects

Potential energy

The energy that is stored by the way of objects position chemical makeup or elasticity

Work

The force needed to do the same work with a machine

Machine

A device that makes work easier by changing the size or direction of a force

Mechanical advantage

A measure of how much a machine increases a force applied to it

Power

The amount of work done or energy provided in a period of time

Resistance force

The force needed to do work without a machine

Efficiency

A measure of the amount of useful work done by the machine compared with the amount of work done to make the machine operate
