Lists who can makes changes or only view the document; sharing privileges can be changed here

Owners

Can create, edit, and delete documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and drawings, and invite others to edit or view the files

Shared With Me

Folder which allows you to see all the files other people have given you access to, but not files you have created

Share a file or folder

Allow other people to view or edit a file or contents of a folder

Share Setting: Can Edit

When the person you shared with can change the document

Share Setting: Private

When you are the only person able to see the document

Share Setting: Can View

When the person you shared with can only see what you created but cannot change it

Creates a link back to the actual file (or folder) that has been shared, so that it is always the most up to date version.

People lose access.

If a file in a shared folder is moved or deleted.

Copy shared file.

Copied file will not be updated.
