STOP SIGN
-most common, octagon, stop behind crosswalk, etc.
- a red stop sign with white letters or a yellow sign with black letters means stop
-the stop sign means come to a complete stop or yield to pedestrians or other vehicles.

4 WAY & STOP SIGN
- added to a stop sign tells the driver that all approaching traffic at the intersection must stop
- In terms of ROW, the "first come, first served" rule should apply

YIELD
-triangle
-this sign tells you the road you are on joins with another road ahead
- slow down or stop if necessary so you can yield to the right of way to vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles

DO NOT ENTER
- do not enter the roadway ahead
-the road or street ahead is for one-way traffic traveling in the opposite direction
- do not drive in that direction or else you will be driving into oncoming traffic
- Be prepared to turn right or left

WRONG WAY
-if you see this sign facing you, you are driving the wrong way on a one-way street and you are directly opposing the flow of traffic
- Pull over, stop and turn around immediately

DO NOT PASS
- do not pass other vehicles

SLOW TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT
- stay in the right-hand lane of you are driving slower than other vehicles

EMERGENCY STOPPING ONLY
- Sign tells you the shoulder of road should only be used for emergencies
- Includes mechanical breakdown, tire trouble, vehicle failure, or running out of fuel

FORM ONE LINE LEFT
- Tells drivers to merge left into one lane of traffic

DUAL LEFT TURN SIGN

ENTERING A TWO-WAY STREET

- you are about to cross a bridge ahead that is not as wide as the road

SOLID OBJECT CLOSE TO THE ROAD
- you would not want to sideswipe this object
- for instance, it might mark side rials of a narrow bridge, a tree close to the road, os some other obstruction

TRUCK CROSSING
- slow your speed and watch for trucks entering or crossing the road or highway

THERE IS A HILL ADEAD
- approach with caution, and prepare to reduce your speed for a downgrade
- it may be necessary to use a lower gear to slow your car

CAUTION OF SIGNIFICANT DROP
- drop from the pavement edge to the shoulder

- if you must leave the pavement, slow down and steer firmly

WARND DRIVERS THAT AN AREA IS SLIPPERY WHEN WET
