A private remark to one character or to the audience that breaks convention because it is understood not to be hears by other characters on stage
Chorus
a single character or a group of characters whose words may connect scenes or convey the collective thoughts or feelings of the community
Tragic hero
The main character, an outstanding character who's downfall is due to their own flaws
Tragic flaw
The part of the hero's person that leads him to make a fatal mistake
Comic relief
Humorous scenes or characters to relieve tension on stage
Romantic comedy
Comedy that involved problems among lovers
Comedy of manners
Satirizes social customs of society
