France, Britain, and the USA practiced democracy. Yet, all three nations joined an alliance with the Communists USSR in WWII. Why did this happen? Why did these nations decide to unite during the conflict?

They came togetheron the view of a common enemy. The alliances saw many disagreements maily concerning military strategy. They decided if they came together, they would protect one another if one got in trouble.
