Viral disease that causes severe vomiting and diarrhea in dogs, transmitted through direct and indirect contact, feces, treated by intensive care efforts

Kennel Cough

infectious cough, transmitted by inhaling, treated by cough suppressants and antibiotics

Kennel Cough Symptoms

harsh dry cough, retching, gagging, and partial anorexia

Leptospirosis

bacterial disease transmitted through contact with contaminated urine, treated by antibiotics and supportive care, effects kidneys and liver

Leptospirosis symptoms

- fever, hepatitis, meningitis (looks like viral), nephritis, rash, conjunctivitis- myalgia- bleeding, thrombocytopenia- Weil disease, jaundice

Canine Influenza

upper respiratory virus, highly contagious, not as common or easy to treat, treatments include antimicrobials, fluid for dehydration, transmitted through aerosols, coughing, sneezing or direct contact

Lyme disease

Tick-borne disease caused by the spirochete Borrelia burgdorferi, transmitted through tick bites, treated with antibiotics, symptomatic tx

Life cycle of heartworm
