-, ngHas no sound when it precedes a vowel. When in last position is pronounced as "ng" as in "bring".

i Pronounced as "i" as in "hit" or "ea" as in "heat".

aPronounced as "a" as in "bat".

yaPronounced as "ya" as in "yap".

eo Pronounced as "aw" as in "lawn". Romanized as "oe".

yeoPronounced as "yaw" as in "yawn". Romanized as "yeo".

euPronounced as "u" as in "put".

oPronounced as "o" as in "boat".

yoPronounced as "yo" as in "yokel".

uPronounced as "u" as in "pool".

yuPronounced as "yu" as in "you".

g, kPronounced as "k" as in "kitchen". When preceded by vowels pronounced as "g" as in "guess". When preceded by "m", "n" or "l"is pronounced as "ng".

k Aspirated "k" (Romanized as k')

hPronounced as "h" as in "hope". Sometimes not pronounced. When occuring as last consonant in syllable, following k's, t's, p's and ch's are aspirated.

nPronounced as "n" as in "nanny".

d ,tPronounced as "t" as in "toad". When preceded by vowels is pronounced as "d". When preceded by "m", "n" or "l" is pronounced as "n".

tAspirated "t" (Romanized as t')

r, lPronounced as "l" as in "ladle". Pronounced as "r" when between vowels. When preceded by "ng", "n", or "m" is pronounced as "n".

b, pPronounced as "p" as in "potty". When preceded by vowels is pronounced as "b".When preceded by "m", "n" or "l" is pronounced as "m".

j, zProunced as "ch" as in "chamber". When preceded by vowels is pronounced as "j".
