Inhibits binding of adenosine diphosphate to its platelet receptor, preventing platelet aggregation; thus preventing clots
Contraindications
GI/ intracranial bleeding
Side effects
Increased bleeding, diarrhea

75mg/ day PO, 300mg loading dose for N-stemi AMI's
Pedi dose
0.2-1 mg/kg/day
