Behavioral Perspective

Psychologists believe that thinking/behavior is determined by our ability to process, store, & remember information.

Cognitive Perspective

Psychologists believe that thinking/behavior is determined by our unconscious mind.

Psychodynamic Perspective

Psychologists believe that thinking/behavior is influenced by our bodily structures & chemicals/hormones.

Biological Perspective

Psychologists believe that thinking/behavior is influenced by our attempt to become our full potential self.

Humanistic Perspective

Psychologists believe that thinking/behavior is influenced by the situation or culture that we are in.

Social-Cultural Perspective

Greeting in the USA=Handshake. Greeting in France=Kiss on the cheek

Social-Cultural Perspective

Stress causes the release of cortisol in the body. This can cause us to feel anxious

Biological Perspective

A child's needs such as food, shelter, love, self-esteem, must be met so that he/she can grow to become their best self

Humanistic Perspective

A 2 yr old was attacked by a dog. In the future, at 55, she isn't sure why she feels anxiety at the sound of a bark.

Psychodynamic Perspective

Julie remembers exactly how to get to her house from school

Cognitive Perspective

A student avoids being in dress code violation because they do not want to get a referall

Behavioral Perspective
