Dopamine (Intropin) Indications
1. Cardiogenic Shock2. Any shock refractory to fluid resusitation3. Hypotension secondary to bradycardia post resusitation
Dopamine (Intropin) Contraindications
1. Hypovolemic Shock in which fluid resusitation has not been performed2. Uncorrected tachycardia or VF
Dopamine (Intropin) Precautions
1. ventricular irritability2. Do not mix with sodium bicarbonate
Dopamine (Intropin) Side Effects
1. VT2. Hypertension3. Headache, angina, nausea, vomitting
