Grounds for Misconduct

MRPC 8.4(a)

It is professional misconduct for a lawyer to violate or attempt to violate any of the Model Rules, knowingly assist or induce another to do so, or to do so through the acts of another

MRPC 8.4(b)

It is professional misconduct for a lawyer to commit a criminal act that reflects adversely on the lawyer's honesty or fitness as a lawyer in other respects

MRPC 8.4(c)

It is professional misconduct for a lawyer to engage in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation, regardless of whether the conduct is criminal

MRPC 8.4(d)

It is professional misconduct for a lawyer to engage in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice, regardless of whether the conduct is criminal or dishonest in nature

MRPC 8.4(e)

It is professional misconduct for a lawyer to state or imply an ability to influence improperly a government agency or official

MRPC 8.4(f)

It is professional misconduct for a lawyer to knowingly assist a judge or judicial officer in conduct that is a violation of applicable rules of judicial conduct or other law

MRPC 8.4(g)

It is professional misconduct for a lawyer to engage in conduct that the lawyer knows or reasonably should know is harassment or discrimination on the basis of race, sex, religion, national origin, ethnicity, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender id
