for A Fib with RVR. Cardiac glycoside/antiarrhytmic. Promotes calcium usage in cardiac muscle for stronger contraction, slows conduction from SA to AV nodes. Must monitor Dig and K levels, take dose daily at same time

For athsma/acute bronchitis. Not a rescue inhaler.
Prednisone taper
For athsma/acute bronchitis. May cause irregular heartbeat and high blood sugar. Tell the doctor if you are pregnant. Take all of the medication as prescribed
Cromolyn sodium
For athsma/acute bronchitis. Nasal spray or nebulizer treatment. Not a rescue medication. May cause nasal irritation, cough, unpleasant taste. Do not use if treatment is cloudy or grainy
Albuterol
For athsma/acute bronchitis. Rescue inhaler. May cause nervousness, palpitations. If SOB does not decrease seek assistance
How to use inhaler
Shake well. Release 4 test sprays into air (priming) use spacer. Exhale. Put inhaler in mouth and push, then inhale. Wait 1 minute and use again
Singulair
For athsma/acute bronchitis. Decreases severity and frequency of attacks. PO. Do not double dose. Administer once daily in the evening b/c drowsiness
Zithromycin
For acute bronchitis. Antibiotic. May cause GI upset, take full prescribed dose. Do not take with antacids or milk.

for hypertensive crisis. Alpha agonist. Don't take with alcohol. May cause dizziness, constipation, dry eye. Don't stop without doctor instructions, may be withdrawal symptoms

for CAD/Endocarditis. Antibiotic. take whole course of antibiotics. May cause GI upset. Do not take with dairy or antacids
