Upstream

A narrow, man-made channel of water that joins other bodies of water

Canal

And inland body of water usually fresh

Lake

The place where a river begin

Bay

The place where a river flows into a larger body of water

River mouth

A deep, narrow body of water connecting two larger bodies of water

Channel

A part of an ocean or sea which reaches into the land, generally with a narrower opening number than a bay

Gulf

The direction toward which river flows

Downstream

A large area of saltwater smaller than an ocean

Sea

A natural flow of water emptying into another body of water and partly or completely enclosed by land

River

The Land deposited at the mouth of a river

Delta
